Update: Tom Clancy Viral Site

Alright; I’m 100% convinced this new Tom Clancy viral site is for a new game that merges the storylines and teams from all three Tom Clancy franchises (Splinter Cell, Rainbow Six, Ghost Recon). The hints provided in my previous post (link) combined with the fact that the official sites for all three games have just updated with news posts concerning terrorist acts / events in different locations around the world which are directly mentioned in the radio chatter heard on the viral site confirmed all three teams are involved. The news posts below:

Rainbow Six Update (click to enlarge)

Ghost Recon Update (click to enlarge)

Now, listen to the ‘news’ radio chatter on the Viral site, and eventually the reporter will mention briefly each of these events and / or locations the events take place in the radio chatter. Which leads to my conclusion that the events which unfolded in the three latest Tom Clancy titles, somehow directly or indirectly caused the events of this new title and will require the presence of all three teams / units to handle it.

Any additional facts, speculation, conspiracy theories welcomed.

It’s probably a completely new game, however, what if this game is the next chapter in each of the 3 titles? (Splinter Cell: Firehawk, which is then continued in R6: Firehawk and concluded in GRAW: Firehawk).

This viral campaign has sure peaked my interest!

I played the Games ‘RainbowSix Vegas’ and ‘SplinterCell DoubleAgent’.

The both games have the same end: ‘To be continued‘…

A bad mistake? Or the sign for something else like a new game…

What would make it a “true viral”?

Apparently the new issue of EGM (Electronic Gaming Monthly) is going to have some inside scoop on this new title.

The back of the current issue hints to the feature coming up, and says it “will not be the same old Ghost Recon or Rainbow Six gameplay”.

They could mean that literally, or just could be the same old marketing every developer says about their new game, that it’ll ‘be like nothing you’ve ever seen’.

Not too much new revelations about this secret have come to light just yet, just minor stuff (figuring out co-ordinates and some back story), but I’ll update if we figure out or find out any solid stuff.
